Sensory adaptations

Dealing with noise

Ensuring there's a space with no loudspeaker close-by possibliy identifying it as quieter corner. Reduce noises, e.g., provide cups with cork mats underneath. Install rubber feet or felt under the feet of chairs.

Provide a separate quiet room. (This should not be a broom cupboard and ideally have natural light.) If possibly ensure that not all surfaces are hard and consider installing sound absorption material where it makes sense.

Dealing with space

Ensure one has enough personal space. No touching without prior consent. No forced shaking hands.
